GBO Becomes 2-Day Tourney

The Greater Bangor Open has turned into a 2-day tournament after rain washed out the second round on Friday.The second round did get underway with a few groups finishing, but as the conditions deteriorated the decision was made to stop play. There will not be a cut as everyone will be back for the final round on Saturday.

Jesse Larson of Vermont and Eric Steger of Connecticut who share the lead after shooting 6-under-par 63 in the first round will be the final group out with a tee time of 12:45. Jon McLean who is tied for second will be the third member of that group.
