If the Husson baseball team is going to win the North Atlantic Conference the Eagles are going to have to do it on Castleton's home turf in a couple of weeks.

The Spartans finished a four-game sweep of the Eagles Sunday afternoon with two pitching dominated games, 3-2 in 12 innings and a 2-0 shutout.

The sweep means Husson falls to 10-6 in the NAC. Castleton is now 16-2.

GAME 1: This one went 12 innings with Husson's Ben Walls and Castleton's Devin Hayes locked up for seven innings. Dillon Benham hit a sac fly in the bottom of the 12th to score the game winner. The Eagles offense could muster only five hits.

GAME 2: Another pitcher's duel - Husson's Robert Graff and Castleton's Steven Jurkiewicz both went the distance. Graff was the tough luck loser. Again, the Eagles struggled with the bats with just four hits.

HUSSON SOFTBALL:  After splitting a conference doubleheader Saturday, the Eagles lost two non-conference games on Sunday to Bowdoin 8-0 and 11-0. Husson is 7-5 in NAC, 11-23 overall.
