Greater Bangor Open Pro-am Day
Professional golfers are in town which means the 49th annual Greater Bangor Open will get underway with the Pro-Am tournament at Bangor Municipal Golf Course today.The three day pro tournament which runs from Thursday through Saturday will feature 95 competitors. A new champion will be crowned as defending champ David Chung will not be back to defend his title. Chung won thriller a year ago beating Mike Van Sickle on the 4th playoff hole and a GBO record 16-under-par.
Former champions in this years field include John Hickson, Shawn Warren, Jesse Speirs and Eric Egloff.
