When you have a match-up between two of the top three teams in the standings you can usually count on a good game. Hampden and Bangor didn't disappoint as the teams went 9 innings before the Broncos pulled out a 4-3 win.

After Hampden grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first, Bangor came back with two in the third on an Anthony Capuano rbi single and a Capuano steal of home to take the lead.

The Broncos got the lead back in the bottom of the inning on a 2-run double by Michael Ward before the Rams tied it in the 6th. The score would stay tied at 3 until the bottom of the 9th when Hampden's Matt Closson got a 2-out double and Nick Rodgerson was intentionally walked. That brought the lead off hitter Cooper Antone to the plate who flared a shot to right field driving in the winning run.

Hampden is now 4-0 with the win while Bangor drops to 3-2.
