Hampden Boys, Bangor Girls Host KVAC Games

It's back to game action for many high school hoops and hockey teams today. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket brings you a day-night doubleheader with live game broadcasts at 2pm and 7pm.

The afternoon game features #6 Messalonskee girls (3-2) at #7 Bangor (2-2). The two teams have played just one common opponent so far - top ranked Edward Little. Bangor lost to them by 10, the Eagles lost to EL by 36.

The night game pits #1 Hampden (4-0) hosting #11 Cony (1-3). The Broncos have been dominate against most teams, although they needed overtime to win at Brunswick. Cony's win came over Lewiston. Talented football quarterback Ben Lucas, a Fitzpatrick Trophy finalist, is a member of the Cony hoops team.
