While the Boston Celtics are in a mini funk, the Boston Bruins are flying high these days. Friday night's action showed the tale of two teams.

The Bruins pounded the Pittsburgh Penquins 6-2 as rookie Frank Vatrano got his first career hat trick in his 17th NHL game.

The B's are now 18-9-4. Their 40 points in the standings puts them just three behind first place Montreal for the divsiion lead.

The Boston Celtics seem to be going in the opposite direction. A 109-101 loss to the Atlanta Hawks means the C's have lost four of their last five games.

One week after taking the Golden State Warriors to double overtime, the Celts have lost their swagger.

Isaiah Thomas scored 29 and Jae Crowder scored 24 but the C's defense was not good. Coach Brad Stevens was not happy in the post game presser.
