Hawes Scores 16, Hawks Stay Unbeaten
Hermon's Cody Hawes scored 16 points to lead the Hawks to a 38-29 win over MDI Friday night.
The top ranked Hawks are 12-0 and run their two year win streak to 34 games.
The Trojans fall to 8-3.
This one over #3 MDI was won on the defensive end. The Hawks held the top two Trojans scorers, Derek Collin and Drew Shea, to a combined 19 points.
MDI did lead by two at the half (18-16) but Hermon outscored the Trojans 22-11 in the second half, including 11-4 in the fourth quarter.
Along with Hawes 16 points, Garrett Trask added 10.
Drew Shea led MDI with 11.
