Heath, Trask Weekly America East Award Winners

UMaine's Scott Heath is America East Conference player of the week for his play against UMBC over the weekend. Steve Trask is AE co-pitcher of the week.

In the final weekend of regular season play, Heath helped the Black Bears beat UMBC two out of three games by hitting .529 with 11 RBI and 6 runs scored.

Trask, who made his first start of the year Sunday, pitched 11.2 innings and gave up just 2 runs on 7 hits.

The Bears begin America East Tournament play on Thursday at 2pm vs #1 Stony Brook.
