Tommy Heinsohn is already in the Basketball Hall of Fame as a player. Now he's going in as a coach and now he becomes one of only four people to get inducted for both roles.

Many sports fans know Tommy Heinsohn as a broadcaster but after his Hall of Fame playing career, he coached the Celtics from 1969 to 1978. His teams won 427 games and two NBA titles.

Heinsohn is one of five  basketball greats will were elected to the so-called 'direct elect' into the hall.

12 other finalists are up for consideration, including another former C's coach, Bill Fitch, and former Celtics guard Jo Jo White.

Th 2015 class will be announced on April 6th.
