The Hermon Hawks and Brewer Witches battled to a 3-3 draw when the game was called after 7 innings in an exhibition baseball game at Mansfield Stadium on Friday, April 15th.

Brewer took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning before Hermon plated 3 runs in the top of the 6th inning. The Witches scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game.

Hermon had 4 hits. J. Kokoska, M. Philips, D. Fowler and C.Gage all had a single with Fowler driving in 2 runs.

Brewer had 5 hits. Michael Desjardins, Maddox Torrey, Evan Nadeau and Dustin Mitchell each had a single. Drew Prados had a double

D.England started on the mound for Hermon and went 3 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run, striking out 3 and not allowing a walk.

Grady Vanidestine started on the mound for Brewer and went 1 inning allowing 1 hit, 0 runs and struck out 1 and walked a batter.

Hermon is back in action on Saturday, April 16 against Messalonskee at 1 p.m.

Brewer is back in action on Saturday April 16th against Presque Isle at Mahaney Diamond at 10 a.m.
