A comeback win for the ages for the Husson football team. Trailing Salve Regina by 17 points at halftime, the Eagles pulled out a 29-26 overtime victory on Senior Day at the Winkin Complex.

After the Seahawks kicked an overtime field goal to grab a 26-23 lead, Eagles QB David Morrison found tight end Aidan Hogan for the game winning five-yard TD pass.

Morrison threw for 320 yards and four TDs on the day.

Three of the touchdowns went to Tyler Halls, including a 71-yard  play for a score. Halls caught eight passes for 182 yards and the three TDs. He now holds the Husson single season record with 67 receptions. (Kyle Gaudet had 66 last season)

Senior RB/WR Keyshaun Robinson led the Eagles in rushing with 71 yards on 21 carries. He also caught four passes for 46 yards.

On defense, Frank Curran had 11 tackles and Derek Barden 10. Nick Alvarez and Brandon Williams had interceptions.

The win puts the Eagles at 4-2 in conference play and 4-5 overall with a final game at Western New England next week.

Salve Regina drops to 2-4 and 3-6.

NOTE: The Seahawks top runner, Joey Mauriello , the league's top rusher was held to 57 yard on 13 carries. He was in and out of the game with a leg injury
