Huskies Eliminate Wisconsin SP

  Freshman Tyler Leavitt pitched the complete game four hitter leading USM to a 9-1 win over Wisconsin Stevens Point in the World Series.Former Oxford Hills star Matt Verrier hit a homerun and drove in 4 runs to lead the Huskies offense. Tucker White added 2 hits and 3 rbi for USM who pounded out 11 hits and struck out just once against WSP pitching.

The Huskies will now play the loser of Ithaca and Linfield Wednesday afternoon at 1. The winner will play for the championship while the loser is eliminated.
