A night after beating the number two team in the conference, the Husson men's basketball team pulled out an 82-79 win over New England College to improve to 7-0 in the NAC.Raheem Anderson hit a key 3-pointer with 1:34 remaining to give the Eagles a one point lead which they would never give up. After the Pilgrims got within a point they had a chance to reclaim the lead but missed a three point shot which was rebounded by Husson's Jacob Moore. His outlet pass went to Travon Butler who was fouled resulting in two made foul shots with 12 seconds left.

Butler finished with a double-double scoring a game high 27 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Raheem Anderson added 21 points for the Eagles who improve to 12-2 overall.

WOMEN'S GAME

The Husson women lost their game to New England College 59-55 despite leading for the majority of the game. The Eagles took a three point lead into the locker room at halftime and were led by Chandler Guerrette who finished with 15 points.

The Pilgrims used a 15-1 run late in the second half and held on for the win that improves their conference record to 7-1. Husson falls to 8-5 overall and 6-2 in the North Atlantic Conference.
