Husson Golf Leads NAC Tourney

The Husson University golf team is halfway to an 8th straight NAC championship. The Eagles top four golfers all shot in the 70's in round one at Samoset in Rockland. Lance Bernier was best with a 72. Bill Hutchins fired a 73.

Porter Gervais shot a 75 and Greg Pike a 77 to make the Husson team total 297. That score leads second place Salem State by 12 shots.

The second and final round is Sunday. The NAC champion moves on to the NCAA national tournament in the spring.
