Husson Men #1 Seed, Women #4

The Husson University men's basketball team brings a nine game winning streak into tonight's North Atlantic Conference quarterfinal playoff game at Newman Gymnasium.

Coach Warren Caruso's team earned the top seed in the NAC with a 17-1 conference record (23-2 overall).

The opponent is the Johnson State College Badgers from Vermont, the #8 seed with a record of 3-15 (6-19 overall).

Husson won both times the teams played during the regular season.

Tip time is 7:30pm on the Husson campus.

The Husson women's team earned the number four seed in the NAC and will host #5 seed New England College at 5:30pm.

Coach Kissy Walker's Eagles finished 13-5 in the NAC (14-11 overall) while NEC finished with a 10-8 conference mark (14-11 overall).

The Eagles and the Pilgrims split their two regular season games, each winning at home.
