The Husson Eagles baseball team won their second game in as many days with a 9-4 win over St. Joes College. Today they return to conference play against UMaine-Farmington.After falling behind 4-1 after two innings, Zachary Yates came on to pitch and shut the door throwing seven innings of scoreless ball and allowing just three hits. The offense then put together a 3-run third inning and a 4-run sixth inning to pull out the victory. J.T. Whitten, Dennis Meehan and Kyle Bishop each had two hits and two rbi's for the Eagles who improve to 14-9 overall, and get their first win over the Monks in 12 years.

Today Husson returns to North Atlantic Conference play against UMaine-Farmington. You can hear the first game of the double-header at 12 noon right here on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.

The Husson softball team dropped a non-conference match-up against the University of Maine on Thursday by a 6-1 score. Husson falls to 15-7 on the season and will play a home non-conference double header against Bowdoin College today starting at 3pm.
