Irving Scores 24, Bulldogs Beat Broncs 61-36

Nia Irving scored 24 points and other Lawrence players chipped in as the Bulldogs won their 12th straight game, 61-36 over the Hampden Broncos.

Lawrence had a 13 point lead at the half but the Broncos put together an early third quarter run to get the deficit to single digits. Then Irving kicked it in gear, scoring 11 points in the quarter.

As the Bronco defense collapsed on Irving inside, the Bulldogs hit enough outside shots, including five three-pointers. Hunter Mercier had 12 points off the benc for Lawrence.

Hampden was led in scoring by Brooklyn Scott with 14 points.

Lawrence improves to 12-0, Hampen now 7-4.
