Jeter belted the game winning base hit to end the game, and his career in the bronx. It was a memorable night for the shortstop who finished with 2 hits and 3 rbi.

Jeter did announce after the game that he will make the trip to Fenway Park for the final 3 games of the season and his career but will only DH. He explained that he wanted his last view from the shortstop position to be at Yankee Stadium.
