Johnny Hockey Is Hobey Finalist

Boston College standout Johnny Gaudreau is one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award. Nic Dowd from St. Cloud State and Greg Carey from St. Lawrence make up the so called Hobey Hat Trick.

Gaudreau and his BC Eagles will play in the Frozen Four National Championship Tournament next week. He has 35 goals and 42 assists for 77 points - tops in the nation. His +41 plus/minus ratio is also best in college this year.

Dowd led his Huskies with 22 goals and 18 assists.

Carey had 18 goals and 39 assists for St. Lawrence.

The Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced next Friday, April 11th at the Frozen Four in Philadelphia.
