After a week of adversity and disciplined players the Bangor football team came together to pick up a 24-7 quarterfinal win over Oxford Hills.Running back Dane Johnson led the ground attack by racking up 135 yards on 37 carries and 2 touchdowns. Johnsons 1 yard run in the second quarter was the only scoring in the first half. He would add another score in the third to as the Rams built up a lead their defense would have no problem maintaining.

Quarterback Jeff Lewis had his best start of the season completing 6 of 11 passes for 117 yards including a 49 yard touchdown pass to Joe Johnson.

The Rams improve to 6-3 on the season and advance to the semifinals where they face top seed Cheverus next Saturday.
