Paul Kariya was a five-time NHL All Star and multi-time Team Canada Gold Medalist but in Maine he'll always be the former UMaine Black Bear who helped lead his team to the 1992-93 National Championship.

Many considered that team the greatest college hockey ever.

Kariya and six other hockey greats were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto Monday night.

In his induction speech, Kariya who is now 43-years-olds, talked about coming from Vancouver to Orono. He talked about Red Gendron, Shawn Walsh and Grant Standbrook.
