Koji Uehara's availability for opening day is becoming more uncertain. He hasn't pitched since March 14th when he developed hamstring tightness and a bullpen session scheduled for midweek has been pushed back.

Even manager John Farrell says Uehara's status for April 6th is uncertain.

He has pitched three times this spring.

If he can't go, Edward Mujica is likely the guy to get the closer job when the season opens.
