Lackey Goes 7,Wins For Cards

John Lackey pitched seven innings and gave up just two runs in his debut with the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday afternoon. He got credit for the win in a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Lackey was part of the trade deadline deal day by the Red Sox when the Sox traded Lackey for 1B/OF Allen Craig and RHP Joe Kelley.

Lackey went seven innings, he have up seven hits and no walks. He struck out four. His combined record is 12-7 with a 3.55 ERA>
