Local Fighters Impress White At NEF Event
An eight fight card at the Cross Insurance had the 1,200 in attendance buzzing at the end of the main event.
UFC President, and Hermon High School graduate, Dana White was in the house with Matt Serra and company to film the reality television show "Looking For A Fight" on Friday night. The trio arrived just at the conclusion of the first fight of the night between Josh Harvey and Zenon Herrara that ended in a TKO in the first round.
White could be seen jumping up and yelling after flurries of punches and was overall impressed with the level of competition by the fighters in Maine.
While he wouldn't divulge which fighters were the most impressive for the UFC head, reports were that Devin Powell of Wells, ME and Aaron Lacey of Holden, ME garnered the most interest outside of the Brazllian Ricardo Lucas Ramos.
White and company will stay in the area for another day before heading to Sturgis, South Dakota.
