Score an 11th straight Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race title for Nova Scotia kayaker Trevor MacLean. His winning time - a blistering 1-hour 52-minutes 53-seconds.

MacLean was one of the 430 boats and 810 people to challenge the high water of the Kenduskeag for this 53rd annual race.

The high water level and the timing of high tides forced race officials to change the finish line spot and turn the 16.5 mile race into about 16 miles.

MacLean said he thought his for the full race probably would have been around an hour and 56-minutes.

The 10-person war canoe headed up by James Mabee turned in an impressive time of 2-hours and 33-seconds.
