Maine Women’s Basketball Falls to Brown 70-39
The Maine Women's Basketball Team had a tough game in Providence on Sunday, November 23rd, falling to Brown 79-30.
Maine trailed 21-2 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 34-16 at the end o the 1st Half. Brown led 54-26 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
Maine was led by Asta Blauenfeldt with 10 points.
The Black Bears shot just 26.4 percent from the field and were just 3-23 from beyond the 3-point arc. Maine was 6-10 from the free throw line.
Brown dominated the boards, outrebounding Maine 51-26
Grace Arnolie led Brown with 22 points.
Brown shot 45.9 percent from the field and were 4-19 from beyond the 3-point arc. They were 10-12 from the free throw line.
Brown is now 3-2.
