Maine’s Tommy Lawrence Named Pitcher Of The Week

For the third time this season UMaine junior Tommy Lawrence has been named the America East Pitcher of the Week. Lawrence pitched seven innings of no-hit ball in a win over Hartford. Lawrence would eventually allow just one hit over eight innings to get his third win of the season.

He struck out eight and issued one walk. The only run he allowed was an unearned run which ended his streak of 15 scoreless innings.

Lawrence and the Bears take on the Great Danes at Albany this weekend.
