Johnn Manziel did little to win the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback job with his performance in the  Monday Night preseason game as the Brownies lost to Washington 24-23.

Manziel and Brian Hoyer split time with the first unit but neither guy was very good.

Manziel was 7-for-16 for 65 yards and one TD. He was sacked once.

Hoyer was 2-for-6 for just 16 yards.

Manziel also flipped the bird to the Washington bench after throwing an incomplete pass in the third quarter. He is likely to be fined by the league for his gesture.
