34 seconds into overtime Brad Marchand did it again...another game winning goal and the Boston Bruins beat the Detroit Red Wings 6-5.

Marchand has now scored four overtime game winning goals this year. He has 11 in his Bruins career and that is a franchise record.

Oh yeah, the goal gave Marchand a hat trick on the night along with assists on two other goals. He now has 28 goals on the season.

Defenseman Torey Krug also had a big night, scoring twice and getting two assists.

Rookie Jake DeBrusk scored the other B's goal.

Backup goalie Anton Khudobin stopped 30 shots to get the win.

Former UMaine goalie Jimmy Howard came off the bench to play in the game. The Bruins scored two goals against him.

The Bruins are now 41-15-8, in second place in their Atlantic Division. They are six points behind Tampa Bay with three games in hand. The 90 points in the standings is the third most in the NHL.
