Matthews Sets NHL History In Debut [VIDEO]

Toronto Maple Leafs #1 draft pick Auston Matthews had a historic NHL debut last night when he scored four goals, including the first three on his for three shots.

Oh yeah, his Maple Leafs lost the season opener to Ottawa 5-4 in overtime.

But the story is Matthews.

He's 19-years-old. The #1 pick in the June draft. He's from Arizona. And, he may be just what the NHL needs.

Matthews is the first player to score four goals in modern NHL history.
