While the New England Patriots enjoy a bye week in the NFL playoffs, their offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will interview for the Cleveland Browns head coaching job.McDaniels, who is an Ohio native will meet with the team on Saturday in the Foxborough area according to reports out of Boston. NFL rules state that only coaches not involved in Wild Card Weekend are able to talk with other teams. After this week McDaniels cannot interview until the Patriots are eliminated. League rules also prevent the Browns from offering the job or negotiating a contract until his season is over.

This is McDaniels second stint with the Patriots after leaving to become the Head Coach of the Denver Broncos followed by a short stay in St. Louis as the Rams Offensive Coordinator.

New England's first playoff game game is Saturday the 11th at 8:30 against the Colts, Bengals, or Chiefs. You can hear that game as well as every NFL playoff game including Super Bowl 48 on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
