Millan Wins Two Major AE Awards

UMaine junior guard wins two major America East Conference awards and UMaine coach Amy Vachon wins Coach of the Year honors.

Millan wins AE Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

Tanesha Sutton joins Millan on the First Team All-Conference team. Parise Rossignol earns Second Team honors and Dor Saar is named Third Team All-Conference.

Millan becomes just the fourth AE player to win POY and Defensive POY honors in the same year. She was a five-time Player of the Week winner.

Vachon wins her second consecutive Coach of the Year award after leading the Black Bears to a 15-1 record and #1 seeding.

Rossignol and Fanny Wadling earned spots on the conference all-academic team.
