Here are this week's nominees (in alphabetical order) for the McDonald's High School Athlete of the Week.

Jared Cunningham: Messalonskee Hockey – Cunningham set some history while helping the Eagles post a win over Old Town-Orono. Cunningham had a 7-point performance with four goals and three assists and in the process became the leading scorer in school history, breaking the previous record set by his older brother Chase. Cunningham now has an impressive 261 career points.

Andre Miller: Old Town Basketball – Miller leads the team in scoring this season and showed why last week as he poured in 48 points in three wins for the Coyotes. Miller not only leads hid team in scoring, but also the second leading scorer in the Big East Conference with an average of 16 points per game.

Kelsey Shaw: MDI Basketball – The Trojans senior had busy week as she sparked the team to three wins. The guard scored double digits each time out with 18 points against Central, 14 in a tight win over Presque Isle and another 25 against Caribou.
