Miss B-Ball Clement Scores 21 (Photos)
The states best senior basketball players got together Saturday for the annual McDonald's Senior All-Star games with the east and west winning two games each.McAuley High School's Allie Clement showed why she was named Miss Maine Basketball Scoring four straight baskets in a 2:30 stretch of the second half to finish with a game high 21 points. Clement's A/B west team beat the east 83-44.
In the girls C/D game Raychel Alley of Stearns hit four 3-pointers and led all scorers with 17 points as the east took down the west 73-68. Parise Rossignol of Van Buren added 13 points and Dexter's Abbie Melvin had 10.
Mr. Basketball Dustin Cole of Bonny Eagle poured in 19 points in leading the west to a 143-115 win over the east in the A/B boys game. Hampden's Zach Gilpin led the east with 26 points.
Offense was in full gear in the C/D boys game with the east scoring a 113- 107 win.
