The seventh walk-off win of the season belongs to Mitch Moreland as the Red Sox beat the Houston Astros 6-5 in Sunday Night Baseball and in the process avoid the series sweep.

A grinder of a game with the Sox getting leads only to have the Astros come back on them.

A J.D. Martinez three-run homer (#40) gave Boston a 5-1 lead in the 5th inning but Houston answered with four runs off Rick Porcello, Heath Hembree and Brian Johnson.

It stayed tied until the bottom of the 9th.

That's when Moreland blooped a basehit to left that scored pinch runner Tzu-Wei Lin for the winning run.

Craig Kimbrel gets the win after pitching a 1-2-3 9th inning.

The Sox improve to 98-46 with another day off today.

Chris Sale is set to come off the disabled list and pitch Tuesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays.
