Mulligan, Lions On MNF Tonight

Maine's Matt Mulligan and his Detroit Lions get ready for the first of back-to-back Monday Night Football appearances tonight when they take on the Dallas Cowboys. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starts at 7:45pm.

A win for the (9-5) Lions gives them a playoff spot.

WIn or lose, the Lions meet the Green Bay Packers next Monday night to determine who gets the NFC North Division title.

Mulligan, the Penobscot Valley HS standout, started his football at Husson University and then played at UMaine. He is in his 8th NFL season as a tight end.

He was in the Lions training camp in the fall before getting cut. The team brought him back to the team for week 9. Tonight marks his 7th game and the Lions are 5-1 in those games.

Mulligan wears #82 and if Detroit wants to run the ball there is a good chance Mulligan is in for that play at a blocking tight end.
