Mulumba Up For Nations Top Rookie
University of Maine freshman linebacker Christophe Mulumba has been named one of 21 finalist for the Jerry Rice award which honors the best freshman in FCS football.Mulumba leads the Bears with 105 tackles on the season along with 2 sacks and 2 interceptions. The award is voted on by a panel of sports information and media relations directors, broadcasters, writers and other dignitaries with the winner to be announced at the FCS awards banquet on December 16.
