The musical festivities for the kick-off to the 2017 NFL season has been officially announced by the league on Tuesday.

Grammy award winner Miguel will performing what the league is calling a pop-up concert at Boston’s Christopher Columbus Park on Thursday at noon.  In addition to the show, there will also be appearances from other former Patriot greats, along with a screening of “America’s Game: The Super Bowl Champions” by NFL Films.

here.    The season will get underway at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday with the Pats and Kansas City Chiefs, with another banner unveiling also occurring before the contest.

There are also reportedly going to be 70,000 towels given out by Barstool Sports to fans with a depiction of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as a clown.
