NAC Hoops: Eagles Sweep Badgers

The Husson Eagles duo of Justin Martin and Kenzie Worcester were at it again Friday night, leading the Eagles to a North Atlantic Conference sweep of Northern Vermont- Johnson.

Husson Men 105  NV-Johnson 32:  The Eagles scored the first 10 points of the game and didn't stop scoring. This one was 50-9 at halftime.

Justin Martin had nine points and seven rebounds in 12 minutes of action. He was one of three Eagles scoring nine points. 11 different Husson players scored points in this one.

The Eagles improve to 8-2 in the NAC (12-8 overall). NV-Johnson drops to 2-8, 3-17.

Husson Women 85  NV-Johnson 45:  Senior guard Kenzie Worcester scored 32 points in 33 minutes of action and the Eagles stay unbeaten in NAC play.

Joan Overman had a nine point, eight rebound night. Megan Peach went eight points and 10 rebounds.

The Eagles are now 10-0 and hold top the NAC top spot. NV-Johnson is 0-10, 2-18.

The Eagles and Badgers play again today to finish the weekend series.
