NAC Title Day For Softball, Baseball

The Husson softball team dropped a 5-1 decision to Castleton State Saturday forcing the Eagles to play an Elimination game today.The Spartans scored two runs in each of the first two innings and rode the pitching of freshman Kayla Wood who allowed just five hits and struck out five.

Husson will play Lyndon State at 10am with the winner moving into the championship at 12 noon and have to beat Castleton twice to claim the title.

NOTE:  If Husson is in the championship round at noon, Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket will broadcast live.

NOTE:  Husson baseball plays Castleton State for the NAC championship today. Start time is 10am. IF the Eagles win, they are NAC champs. If Castleton wins, the Spartans would force an if necessary game at noon.
