Nava Singles In Game Winner

The Boston Red Sox won a marathon 5 hour 24 minute game in 14 innings over Tampa Bay to open their road trip with the 10-8 victory. Daniel Nava singled in Shane Victorino for the go-ahead run before Jarrod Saltalamacchia's fourth hit of the game pushed in an insurance run. The teams combined to use 16 pitchers with Franklin Morales getting the win for Boston.

With the Yankees off on Monday the Sox lead over New York is now 2 games.
