Next UM Athletic Director Down To Three
The list of candidates to be UMaine's next athletic director is down to three. The finalists come to the Orono campus for interviews starting December 15th. Two of the three candidates have Maine ties.
Scott Kull: Grew up in Old Town...has 21 years of college athletics administration...is currently an associate athletic director for external operations at Texas Christian University.
Jim Herlihy: Grew up in Millinocket...has 25 years of athltics administration experience...is currently athletics director at the University of Montevallo in Alabama
Carlton Creech: is a senior associate athletic director at University of North Carolina...has 18 years of athletic administration experience.
UMaine is searching for a replacement for Steve Abbott who stepped down to return to work for Senator Susan Collins.
Seth Woodcock is serving as Maine's interim AD.
