The Boston Bruins won't get that non-call tripping penalty reversed, but the NHL is suspending St. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev for one game after his illegal hit to the head on Bruins forward Marcus Johansson in the first period of game five.

There was no penalty call on the play, just as there was no call on the tripping play late in the game.

The NHL Department of Player Safety issued its second suspension against the Blues in the Stanley Cup Final. Oskar Sundqvist was suspended for a high hit on Matt Grzelcyk in the first game. Grzelcyk is still in concussion protocol.
