The Old Town-Orono Black Bears are Class B state champions. A dramatic, come-from-behind, overtime, 3-2 win against Greely.

It is the first state title for the cooperative team that was formed five years ago.

The day in Lewiston did not start well for the Black Bears. Greely scored twice in the first five-and-a-half minutes.

Little did the Rangers know they would never score again.

OTO's Tyler McCannell scored on a rebound to get the Black Bears on the board before the end of the first period.

After a scoreless second period, McCannell scored another goal to tie the game at 2-2.

And then in overtime, Ben Allan-Rahill score on a rebound of his own shot for the game winner.

Old Town-Orono finishes the year at 20-1. Greely finishes 17-3-1.
