The Boston Red Sox earned a 7-2 win over the Angels in the nightcap of the day-night doubleheader at Fenway and settle for a split on the day/ Clay Buchholz scored his ninth win pitching into the seventh inning.

Buchholz did leave the game with some neck stiffness.Manager John Farrell said after the game he does not think it is related to issues that caused him to miss a start last week.

David Ortiz had two hits, including his 12th home run. He drove in three runs.
