The New England Patriots have taken their quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft and he is Jarrett Stidham from Auburn. The Pats took him in the 4th round with overall pick #133.

Let the question come...is he the Tom Brady replacement whenever Brady retires?

Keep in mind, the Pats drafted LSU quarterback Danny Etling in the 7th round last year. And, veteran Brian Hoyer is still around.

As for Stidham, he is 6-foot-2, 218 pounds. He's from a high school in Texas and attended Baylor University but left amid the firing of coach Art Briles and the sexual assault scandal on that campus.

Stidham spent his last two years at Auburn. He was named the SEC Newcomer of the Year in his first year with the Tigers but did not have a great year this past year as Auburn finished 8-5.
