Pats Pick Up LB Casillas At Deadline

The New England Patriots made a NFL trade deadline deal with the Tampa Bay Bucs to acquire linebacker Jonathan Casillas. He has been in the league for six years.

Reports have the Pats sending a 5th round draft pick to the Bucs in exchange for Casillas and TB's 6th round pick.

The Patriots lost LB Jarrod Mayo to injury and acquired LB Akeem Ayers last week.

Casillas is seen as added depth at linebacker and also plays on special teams.
