The Red Sox miserable start to the season continues. Late last night, a 7-0 loss to the Oakland A's and putting the Sox at 1-4.

Starter David Price was better than the first four Sox starters but still gave up two solo home runs and a two-run shot. He pitched six innings, striking out nine.

But no offense for the Sox against journeyman pitcher Aaron Brooks. He threw six innings of two-hit, shutout ball. The A's bullpen continued the shutout pitching.

Boston managed just four hits, two of them by Xander Bogaerts.

The Sox go back at it tonight. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket begins at 9:05pm.
