PVC, KVAC League Championship Day

The Orono Red Riots cross country teams swept the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC) titles in Class C as both the PVC and Kennebeck Valley Athletic Conference (KVAC) held their league championships.

Team Champs:   

Boys Class B – Hermon.

Girls Class B – Caribou

Boys Class C – Orono.

Girls Class C – Orono

Boys overall JV – Caribou.

Girls overall JV – Orono

Individuals:

Class B boys –  Dylan  Marrero - Caribou

Class C boys – Brendan Penfold – Deer Isle-Stonington

Boys JV – Ethan Holmquist - Caribou

Class B girls – Abigail Wimmer - Caribou

Class C girls – Eliza Broughton, GSA

Girls JV – Rylee Saucier - Caribou

KVAC Championships at Cony HS: The Hampden Academy boys and the Camden Hills girls won the Class A division of the KVACs. In Class B, the Lincoln Academy boys and Maranacook gilrs won league championships.

NOTE: XC regional championships are this Saturday, October 21st. The state championships are October 28th.
