Red Claw Fall In Playoff Opener

The Maine Red Claws lost a 115-114 heartbreaker in the first game of the NBA D-League playoffs. The Canton Charge scored with six seconds left and the the Red Claws missed a layup on the last possession.

The best-of-three series comes back to Portland for games two and three. But, because the Portland Expo is booked with an event, the games(Thursday and if necessary Friday) will be played at the Cross Insurance Arena.

John Holland led Canton with 30 points. Coty Clarke had 25 points and 16 rebounds for the Red Claws.
